Discover Engineering Online:   This is a great site for kids of all ages to learn about engineers and what we do.
Connecticut Roads:    Everything you ever wanted to know about Connecticut roadways (like what does the 600 series of state route numbers represent).
A Sightseer's Guide to Engineering:   Planning a trip?  This website will tell you about engineering sites that you can visit on your way.  Listed by state, engineering discipline, and type of facility.  See what's in your state.
Greatest Engineering Achievements:   Find out what were the top 20 engineering achievements of the 20th century.   Here's a preview, computers are only number eight.
New England Land Title Association (NELTA): Nelta is a non-profit trade association for professionals engaged in all aspects of the title industry in each of the New England states.  
National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS): The surveying society that is the "national face of the surveying profession.  Plus.. our own Bob Dahn is the Area 1 Director of NSPS.
National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE): The engineering society that represents licensed professional engineers (PEs) across all disciplines. New England Orienteering Club: If you like maps and like hiking in the woods, you will love orienteering.  Check out this site and give it a try.
3D Pavement Drawings: This artist's creates 3D illusions with sidewalk drawings.  Click on "pavement drawings" and check them out.  His use of the AWWA C900 marking on his underground pipe drawing shows his attention to detail.
Web Weather For Kids: Learn how to tell how far away a thunderstorm is.  This is just one of the "do-at-home" science activities for kids to do.  There is also a section of resources for teachers.
Paper Toys: Paper cut-out and fold-up toys and items that you print out on your printer.
