The ESCU Child
and Family Development Center Project in Willimantic, Conn. was awarded first place in the
Small Project- New or Renovation category in the 2006 P r o j e c t Team Awards given by
the Connecticut Building Congress. We are proud to have provided site engineering services
for this project in conjunction with Karl Norton Architect LLC, New England Design Inc.,

Robert Dahn (NSPS Area 1 Director) has written an article with Rita
Lumos (NSPS President Elect) that was published in the November edition of the Surveying
and Land Information Science Journal.Abstract: The
activities, accomplishments, and on-going efforts and goals of the NSPS on behalf of the
surveying community are reviewed. Ranging from government affairs to education
programs, a broad stroke overview of NSPS in 2005-2006 is provided.
