Below are a sampling of the variety of projects that we have provided land surveying services for.

Our crew spent an enjoyable day assisting artist Bob Chaplin in the precise layout of his Natural Parterre at the Hillstead Museum in Farmington. 

The Parterre (French “on the ground”) is lattice of mowed walkways surrounding untouched interior parcels which will be allowed to grow wild.

We prepared topographic and boundary surveys for the site of the former Plainfield Greyhound Park. Opening in 1976, the Dog Track was in operation until closing in 2005 with the buildings and kennels being demolished thereafter. The site has since been redeveloped into an Amazon distribution warehouse.  

The Litchfield Judicial District Courthouse project was selected the first-place winner in the 2018 Project Team Awards from the Connecticut Building Congress in the New Construction category and was further selected as the “Project Team of the Year”.  We prepared topographic and boundary surveys. 

We prepared the mapping and preliminary land use analysis of the Salvation Army’s Camp CONNRI property in Ashford. The plans will be used to guide and assist the Army’s long-range development and facilities upgrade program.  

Continuing our long relationship with the University of Saint Joseph, we prepared a campus wide compilation plan consisting of a mosaic of our numerous previous surveys throughout the campus.   

After an almost 15 year process, the creation of the new Coltsville National Historical Park in Hartford is nearing reality. We prepared a series of very detailed land surveys necessary to implement the transfer of certain property and buildings to the National Park Service for a visitors’ center, offices, and display area.  

We provided historical research related to the transfer of the Warren Mill properties in Stafford. Included were existing rights and easements, flooding rights, highway takings and a chain of title back into the 1800s. A title mosaic was prepared depicting or annotating the results of the research.   

Commercial lenders involved in multiple property and jurisdiction transactions will often require that purchasers provide them with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys for each of the properties with the lending package. We have extensive experience preparing surveys in these circumstances for a variety of clients.    

In 1998 and 1999, we conducted surveys of the former Norwich State Hospital in Preston and Norwich. In 2015, the Town of Preston acquired the property and we then worked with the Town of Preston in preparation for the eventual conveyance to the Mohegan Tribe.
